The 2023 Black Forest Festival is on Saturday, August 12th,
and the Black Forest Biergarten Fundraiser is Friday, August 11th.
The theme for this year’s Festival is At Home in the Black Forest.
We are excited to recognize the traditions of the Black Forest that make our community such a unique and wonderful home.

Pancake Breakfast
6:30am - 9:30am
The community Pancake Picnic Breakfast returns to kick off Festival Day bright and early. Pancakes are free, but donations are accepted. Thank you R&R Coffee Cafe and Boy Scout Troop 70!
Parade
10:30am
The Black Forest parade begins at 10:30am. Everyone loves a parade!
Many local businesses and organizations participating in the parade, so come out and join the fun!
Artisan and Business Booth Fair
8:00am - 3:00pm
Our booths are 100% full! We have a great selection of local artisans and businesses participating this year.
This will be a great time to shop and enjoy the talent from our fantastic local artisans.
Children's Entrepreneur Market
8:00am - 1:00pm
Come out for a Farmer’s Market run entirely by kids!
We are so excited to have the Children’s Entrepreneur Market at the Black Forest Festival this year! This is the first time we have highlighted young entrepreneurs and we have a special section at the Festival Artisan and Booth Fair dedicated entirely to these amazing kids!
Family Beer Garden
11:30am - 3:00pm
Back by popular demand, we are hosting a Family Beer Garden during the Festival again this year.
Families can come into the Beer Garden for drinks, sodas, water, games, and music.
This is a different event from the Biergarten Fundraiser, which takes place on Friday, August 11th.
Live Music

There will be plenty of live music during the festival, both in the Music Pavilion and in The Backyard.

Live Demonstrations

In a rural community like the Black Forest, there are so many interesting skills to showcase. Our live demonstrations include Chainsaw Carving, BeeKeeping, Goat Milking, Division of Wildlife, and More.
We will showcase the very successful Demonstration Gardens, which we built in the Backyard Area; and Paul and Emmy from the Black Forest Victory Garden Club will also be hosting simple pump demos.

Children's Games
During Festival
We have a wide variety of children’s games during the festival to deliver fun for children of all ages!
Games will take place on the Community Center Lawn.
Children's Crafts
9:00am - 10:00am & 11:30am - 2:00pm
We have a great craft planned for kids during the festival!
Join the Girl Scouts in the Community Center Parking Lot to make a special craft that you can keep for years!
