We hope you can join the Black Forest Community for a Trunk-Or-Treat on Saturday, October 26th from 12:30pm – 3:00pm.
The event takes place in the Backyard Area of the Black Forest Community Center, 12530 Black Forest Road.
This is our 5th Annual Black Forest Community Trunk-Or-Treat and the kids love it!
We anticipate it will be as well attended this year as prior years.
This is a community event, so families and businesses host a trunk and provide candy to pass out to our Black Forest Trunk-Or-Treaters. Thank you to all of those that participate to spread Halloween cheer to our local kids that typically have to visit other neighborhoods to trick-or-treat.
Food and Crafts begin at 12:30pm. Hot dogs, snacks, and drinks will be available on a suggested donation basis.
Crafts will be available to families at no cost.
All proceeds benefit the Black Forest Community Club for ongoing maintenance and improvements
to the Community Center.
*Please note that pets are not allowed at this event as the Black Forest Community Center is private property and
the BFCC insurance does not allow for pets during events
There are several ways to participate in the Black Forest Community Trunk-Or-Treat:
1. We need trunks! We need families, businesses, and organizations to sign-up to host a trunk and provide candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters. If you can decorate your vehicle, it adds to the fun (however, decorating is not required). Please pre-register your vehicle so we can plan the spacing.
Trunk setup and decorating begins at 11:00am on Saturday, October 26th. For safety reasons trunks must be parked by 12:30pm and have to stay until the Trunk-Or-Treat ends at 3pm. Having a ton of young, excited kids running around alongside moving cars is a situation we want to avoid.
2. We need donations! We need donations of candy, or donations of money to buy candy, to help supplement those that volunteer to host a trunk. Candy can be dropped off to Mountain View Cafe and Catering or to the Fireshouse On The Run. Please drop off candy by Friday, October 25th.
3. We need volunteers! We need all the help we can get as this is a highly attended community event.
