This year’s Black Forest Festival is taking place on August 9, 2025. To kick off the planning season for the festival, we’re excited to announce our 2025 Black Forest Festival Theme and Logo Contest! The theme for this year’s Festival is:

The Heart of the Forest – 56 years strong!

We welcome all our Black Forest Community Artists to let their creativity flow and submit a logo design representing this year’s theme.

The winning logo will be the face of the festival and showcased on the festival website, social media platforms, print materials and used on T-Shirts that will be sold during the festival.

How to Enter:

1. Design a unique and captivating logo that captures the spirit of our festival theme:

“The Heart of the Forest – 56 years strong!”

2. Please save your design using the following naming format: Firstname_Lastname_BFLogo2025

3. Submit your designed logo as either a high quality jpg or png to the email address: WeAreBlackForestCO@gmail.com by May 2nd.  A written explanation of the design concept is helpful, but not required.

4. Please limit designs to include no more than 4 unique colors (shades of colors are still considered unique colors).
Black and white featured on the design are included as one of the 4 colors. 

5. If your design is full-color; it is recommended to also submit a jpg or png featuring your design with one color
as some applications may require a single color.

 Prize:

– The Artist will receive full credit for the logo and will be recognized as the artist on the Festival Website and Social Media Platforms.

– The Artist will receive a free 2025 Black Forest Festival t-shirts featuring the logo design.

– The Artist will receive a free booth space if they choose to exhibit during the festival OR a $100.00 gift card to the art supply store of their choice if they do not wish to exhibit.
