DESCRIPTION:This year\, the Log School in Black Forest is celebrating it’s 100th Anniversary! \nIn honor of this occasion\, we are holding a Centennial Celebration on Saturday\, September 10th and Sunday\, September 11th. \nThe Centennial Celebration begins on Saturday\, September 10th with tours of the historic schoolhouse\, a Quilt Show Fundraiser in the Community Center\, and children’s games in the Log School Park. The children’s games will feature popular games from the 1920’s and there will also be discounted ice cream from Rizuto’s Ice Cream Truck. \nThe Centennial Celebration Schedule of Events is as follows: \nSaturday\, September 10th\n10:00am – 1:00pm\, Log School Open House and Tours\n3:30pm – 6:30pm\, Children’s Games and Ice Cream in the Log School Park\n4:00pm – 6:00pm\, Log School Open House and Tours\n5:00pm – 7:00pm\, Quilt Show Fundraiser in the Black Forest Community Center \nSunday\, September 11th\n10:00am – 4:00p\, Quilt Show Fundraiser in the Black Forest Community Center \nThe Log School Open House and children’s games are free\, and Rizuto’s ice cream will be available at reduced prices courtesy of the Log School and the Community Club. Tickets are required for the Quilt Show and are $5.00 at the door (cash only). \nThe festivities take place at 12530 Black Forest Road\, at the corner of Black Forest and Shoup roads.
