It’s definitely a come one\, come all!\n\nShare your favorite Soups and Side dishes.\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday\, November 16\, 2025\n3:00 – 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nBlack Forest Community Club\n12530 Black Forest Rd\, Colorado Springs\, CO 80908\n\n\n\nThis event promises to be a fun community celebration of friendship\, as well as giving support to people who are struggling to make ends meet. Clean out your closets and your pantries\, or even enjoy shopping to fulfill item(s) on the wish lists below:\n\n\n\nThree agencies will benefit from the generosity of our community: Because We Choose To\, TriLakes Cares\, and Fresh Start. Let’s overwhelm them with an outpouring of care from our community! Representatives from each agency will be joining us and will share their history and visions.\n\n\n\nBecause We Care To will be collecting and distributing new and used clothing — Coats\, Hats\, Gloves\, Socks\, and any items that can be layered to provide warmth\, as their population are the unhomed in the Colorado Springs area.\n\n\n\nTriLakes Cares Wishlist:\nCanned Pineapple\nCanned Peaches\nInstant Mashed Potatoes\nCanned Diced Tomatoes\nCanned Mixed Veggies\nCanned Refried Beans\nCanned Pinto Beans\nSpaghettiO’s\nFlour\nSugar\nVegetable Oil\n\n\n\nFresh Start Wishlist:\nPaper Towels\nDish Soap\nBody Wash\nTampons\nFeminine Hygiene Pads\nTampons\nWomen’s Deodorant\nPull-ups Size 2T/3T\, 3T/4T\, and 4T/5T\n\n\n\nWe will have jars for each agency for your generous cash/check donations as well!\n\n\n\nThe Black Forest Community Club will have bins available outside the doors at 9 am on the morning of 11/16/26 for anyone to drop off donations or non-perishable potluck items early. Prior to that time\, feel free to contact the agencies directly with any donations.\n\n\n\nHosting the event\, Women Warriors of the Woods will be setting up tables and chairs\, organizing the buffet and donation tables\, and cleaning up after the event.\n\n\n\nA HUGE thank you the Black Forest Community Club! As the sponsors they will be providing all the tables\, chairs\, paper products and eating utensils\, as well as Coffee\, Tea\, and Lemonade!!!\n\n\nHelping the less fortunate is truly going to be a team effort! Thank you to all who come!
