DESCRIPTION:Join your friends and neighbors for the Black Forest Community Trunk-Or-Treat!\nSaturday\, October 25th\, 2025\, 1:30pm – 4:00pm\n*Trunk-Or-Treat from 2:00pm – 4:00pm*\nBlack Forest Community Center Backyard\nWe hope you can join us for the 2025 Black Forest Community Trunk-Or-Treat on Saturday\, October 25th from 1:30pm – 4:00pm. All donations benefit the Black Forest Community Club for the event itself and ongoing maintenance of the Community Center. \nThe event takes place in the Backyard Area of the Black Forest Community Center\, 12530 Black Forest Road. \nThis is our 6th Annual Black Forest Community Trunk-Or-Treat and the kids love it!\nWe anticipate it will be as well attended this year as prior years. \nThis is a community event\, so families and businesses host a trunk and provide candy to pass out to our Black Forest Trunk-Or-Treaters. \nThank you to all of those that participate to spread Halloween cheer to our local kids that typically have to visit other neighborhoods to trick-or-treat. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note that pets are not allowed at this event as the Black Forest Community Center is private property and\nthe BFCC insurance does not allow for pets during events. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere are several ways to participate in the Black Forest Community Trunk-Or-Treat:\n\n\n\n\n1. We need trunks! We need families\, businesses\, and organizations to sign-up to host a trunk and provide candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters. If you can decorate your vehicle\, it adds to the fun (however\, decorating is not required). Please pre-register your vehicle so we can plan the spacing. \nTrunk setup and decorating begins at 12:00am on Saturday\, October 25th. For safety reasons trunks must be parked by 1:30pm and have to stay until the Trunk-Or-Treat ends at 4pm. Having a ton of young\, excited kids running around alongside moving cars is a situation we want to avoid. \n2. We need donations! We need donations of candy\, or donations of money to buy candy\, to help supplement those that volunteer to host a trunk. Candy can be dropped off to Mountain View Cafe and Catering or to the Firehouse On The Run or to the Chicken Coop. Clean out your closets and your pantries\, or even enjoy shopping to fulfill item(s) on the wish lists below:\n\n\n\nThree agencies will benefit from the generosity of our community: Because We Choose To\, TriLakes Cares\, and Fresh Start. Let’s overwhelm them with an outpouring of care from our community! Prior to that time\, feel free to contact the agencies directly with any donations.\n\n\n\nHosting the event\, Women Warriors of the Woods will be setting up tables and chairs\, organizing the buffet and donation tables\, and cleaning up after the event.\n\n\n\nA HUGE thank you the Black Forest Community Club! As the sponsors they will be providing all the tables\, chairs\, paper products and eating utensils\, as well as Coffee\, Tea\, and Lemonade!!!\n\n\nHelping the less fortunate is truly going to be a team effort!
