2021 Black Forest Festival Weekend

Friday, August 6th & Saturday, August 7th

We are pleased to announce that planning is currently underway to hold the Black Forest Festival on Saturday, August 7th, 2021.

We are planning for the 2021 Black Forest Festival to return better than ever with a new schedule, live music, exciting demos,
and a return of the Parade and the Outhouse Races.

We are also pleased to announce the return of the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday before the start of the Festival
and the Black Forest Biergarten on Friday, August 6th.

Based upon current guidelines, the festival will resume with NO masks, social distancing, contact tracing, or capacity limits.

We can’t wait to have an old-fashioned Black Forest Festival, so mark your calendars for
Friday, August 6th and Saturday, August 7th for a great 2021 Black Forest Festival Weekend.

Black Forest Biergarten

Friday, August 6th

We are excited to bring the 3rd Annual Biergarten Fundraiser to the Black Forest Community again this year, on Friday, August 6th from 6pm – 9pm. All proceeds go toward the “Raise the Roof” campaign to help provide a desperately needed new roof to the Black Forest Community Center.

Come out for live music from Wirewood Station, your very own Black Squirrel sampler glass, and unlimited beer samples. Tickets are required and can be purchased on Eventbrite.

Black Forest Festival & Pancake Breakfast

Saturday, August 7th

The Black Forest Festival 2021 will return with the beloved Parade, Artisan Booth Fair, Live Demonstrations, Music, Kids Games, and Food.

New this year is a History Presentation to showcase the Past, Present, and Future of the Black Forest.

We still need more volunteers to help with the Black Forest Festival. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us as WeAreBlackForestCO@gmail.com.

Black Forest Festival Artisan and Business Booth Fair

Saturday, August 7th

The Artisan and Business Booth Fair is an extremely popular attraction during the Black Forest Festival. Booth rentals start at only $50. The festival is typically attended by over 4,000 people so it’s a great opportunity to showcase your small business or products.

Booths are reserved using the Black Forest Community Club Website. BOOTH RESERVATIONS ARE FULL.

Black Forest Festival Parade

Saturday, August 7th

The Black Forest parade returns this year and it’s sure to be better than ever.

It’s FREE to participate in the parade, so sign up and join other great businesses and organizations that walk in the parade. Sign ups now open through the Black Forest Community Club Website.

Family Beer Garden

Saturday, August 7th

For the very first time, we are hosting a Family Beer Garden during the Festival. Families can come into the Beer Garden for drinks, sodas, water, games, and music. The Family Beer Garden is open frm 11am – 3pm and drinks will be available on a CASH ONLY basis.

This is a different event from the Biergarten Fundraiser, taking place on Friday, August 6th.

The Black Forest Festival is a longstanding event in the Black Forest Community. By sponsoring the festival, local businesses support the community in which they operate, and they also help to promote their business brand to members of the community.

We believe that if you choose to sponsor this event, your business will receive great exposure for your investment.  All money raised goes directly toward festival expenses. If there are any net proceeds from the Black Forest Festival, 100% of these proceeds are donated to local charities and non-profit organizations.

Meet the Artist: Gina Tracy

We are so excited to have the 2021 Black Forest Festival Logo designed by local artist, Gina Tracy. We decided to share some information about Gina with the rest of the Black Forest Community.

Gina is originally from California but moved to Colorado in 2014 after serving in the US Navy for 12 years. She is a wife and mom of two daughters, and she serves as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Mom. She graduated from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. She is currently employed full-time with LinQuest Corporation as a Graphic Designer.

Gina states, “Since being in Colorado, and while earning my degree, I have had many great experiences. I have been a conductor on Pikes Peak Cog Railway and an adventure photographer for Castle Rock Zipline Tours. I have had the opportunity to learn print shop and design work, and I have been fortunate to create numerous professional, personal, and family projects. It’s been a great experience so far and I have truly found my passion.”

Gina has an Etsy shop that is mainly focused on diamond painting accessories, but she is working on adding more items to her store.
Find her Etsy shop at FilamentFanatic.
