When Dennis and Donna Duncan bought their home in Black Forest, Colorado, they discovered a rhubarb plant growing wild on their property. It was a unique variety and the start of something big — for almost two decades, they’ve worked to create an organic rhubarb farm that offers over 20 varieties of rhubarb as well as seeds and horseradish plants.
Their annual Harvest Festival and Farmer’s Market on June 8 and 9th, features 30 booths to serve hundreds of visitors from near and far! Be sure to attend. They are located at 7275 Wildridge Rd., Black Forest, CO 80908 (see Map).
High Altitude Rhubarb is an organically certified, family operated, pick-your-own farm located between Denver and Colorado Springs. Commercial picking (200+ lbs) is by appointment only and is hosted the Friday preceding the public harvest. No appointment is needed to participate in the public harvest. No admission is charged.
