Oktoberfest & Trunk-or-Treat
The Black Forest Community Center hosted an Oktoberfest celebration and community Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 31st from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. The Black Forest community was invited to celebrate outdoors with live German music and great food, as well as costumes and candy, and we had such a great time!
The event was designed with community outreach in mind, and provided a safe and fun family-friendly event. Masks and social distancing were required. The Trunk-or-Treat ran through a one-way outdoor path and only one group was allowed per trunk at any given time.
For the Oktoberfest celebration, live music was provided by the Das Half Pint band. The Community Club offered a brat meal bag on a packaged, grab-and-go basis. Coffee was generously donated by R &R Cafe. Donations were accepted and all proceeds went to the Black Forest Community Club roof replacement.

To the Black Forest Community Center for hosting these events.
To all the fantastic volunteers that helped make this possible.
To the families and businesses that hosted a Trunk.
To the community members that donated candy and donated money during the Oktoberfest.
To the Firehouse on the Run and Black Forest Auto for their generous financial donations, and R&R Cafe for the coffee donations.
To the Black Forest Communitiy for coming out to celebrate with us and trusting us to provide a safe and fun evening for your children and families.
We love Black Forest!
