Join the Festival Volunteer Team!
The Black Forest Festival has been a tradition in the Black Forest for over 40 years. The event is a favorite among the Black Forest Community and is attended by thousands of people every year.
The Black Forest Festival offers live music, shopping from community artisans, food from local vendors, demonstrations on rural traditions such as wool-spinning, a petting zoo and pony rides for the young at heart, and the popular Black Forest Festival Parade.
The Black Forest Festival is organized by a team of dedicated volunteers, and we are always looking for new people to join our volunteer team.
This year, our Chief Festival Officer is retiring after many years of service. In order to keep the Black Forest Festival alive, we need a new Chief Festival Officer to join our team. The new Chief will work closely with the current Chief as the tradition of running the Festival is handed down.
Even if you are not ready to be the next Chief Festival Officer, we can use you! We need volunteers that can help with the overall planing for the Festival as well as volunteers to help on Festival Day.
Planning has also started for the 4th Annual Black Forest Biergarten and we can also use volunteers for that event.
